Breanne Kennedy graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Minor in Mathematics. After graduation she began her career as a geoscience technician at Devon Energy. While at Devon Energy, her love for geophysics could not be contained and she went back to The University of Oklahoma for her Master of Science in Geophysics.

Her professional career began in the Permian Basin mapping the 2nd Bone Springs, Wolfcamp and Strawn. In 2009, she moved to the Anadarko Basin where operations were booming. She provided the geophysical support for the drilling locations and lateral designs for over 350 operated and non-operated Woodford horizontal wells. Along with the Woodford operations, she helped design and acquire over 1000 square miles of new 3D seismic for the team and reprocess over 3000 square miles of 3D seismic.

In 2016, she moved back to the prolific Permian Basin and continued to work on the 2nd Bone Springs and Wolfcamp. She managed the geophysical execution program for the 2nd Bone Springs including the Boundary Raider 212H and 213 H which had a 24hr IP of 12,868 BOED and 11,149 BOED respectively.

After her time at Devon Energy, she decided to continue working as a geophysical consultant. She spent time with Sandridge Energy working the Niobrara in the North Park Basin. Currently, her focus has been back in the Mid-continent where she is working on prospect generation and any other geophysical consulting needs.

Breanne has been married to her best friend Jayson since 2005. They have 3 kids; Lana, Grayson and Jackson, and 1 furbaby; Lucy a golden retriever. They can be found at a gymnastics meet, baseball field, basketball court, or football field most nights and weekends. They all enjoy being outside as a family and they will often go to Lake Texoma where they love to fish, water ski, wakeboard, and ride 4-wheelers.
